Anyone have any experience with the Weigand Mini Mount. Was considering it for a 5.5" Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 mag with a small red dot reflexive sight. I like the idea of no modifications to the frame, but worry about durability. They recommend not using cantilever mounts or any sight/optic over 4 oz.

I have one on my S&W 460 XVR with a Burris Fastfire - 400 grain bullets @ 1500 mv …..so far - so good! memtb

That's the only reason that I did what I did. From a rest, I couldn't cover my 100 yard groups with 2 open hands!

It took a little while…..but, it's grown on me!

The red dot was a game changer…..especially in poor light! memtb
