Cheep scope for new rifle

You might want to take a look at the Weaver Extreme scopes being discounted at Natchez. Gent I shoot with bought two of the Extremes and only complaint he has about them is their eye relief.....LOL, its LONG. But for your rifle perhaps a long eye relief scope is needed.

I had a Millet Buck Gold and it was junk! Had it on a 300 win. mag. and it gave up after @ 500 rounds. Wouldn't hold zero anymore. They said to send it back but I just chucked it. The coatings sucked if there were any. Had glare all through it if the sun was out in front at all.

Weaver is a solid scope.
