CFE123 or Varget, which one is more accurate for the 7mm-08?

I would not use cfe223 in anything other than a 223 at low charges to plink with. I tried an 80 degree day testing for both a 308 and a 7/08. That's a good middle ground temp for Louisiana. Ended with nodes mid way for charge weight after accuracy testing. Went to shoot on a 95-97 degree day and it could've been really dangerous had I been at max charge. Shot one in 308 and bolt locked up. I thought I made a mistake on the one charge. Tried the 7/08 and same thing with way more recoil. Scales were recalibrated and loads disassembled... not one was off more than .1 grains. Needless to say that powder scares me in hot temps. We use it in a 223 to plink at low charge weights tested in 95 degree heat from the beginning. I know components are short and if you must use it, I highly suggest working up a load on the hottest day of the year for safety purposes. YMMV
