Got a brand new CA Traverse in 280AI that I haven't shot yet. Loaded up some new Nosler brass for barrel break in and when I checked to see how the finished rounds cycled I got some serious scratches from mid brass down to the rim. Looks like it is the feed rail. Can I just smooth them down a bit with fine Emory cloth or does this need to go back to the manufacture for repair?

If scope the chamber, my CA MPR has a chamber that's out of round, there's proper freebore on one side, then lands all the way to the neck on the other side.
