I'm thinking about a 6.5 creedmoor. I thought about building one with a savage action and a shilen barrel. But I've also thought about buying a savage 12 LRP in 6.5. Now I'm not sure what to do. Help me out guys. Thanks

Build. Use quality parts and get a top notch shooting rig. Cost more but is well worth it.

If you have the skill, the time, the tools, and the patience to do a quality job then gunsmithing custom rifles can be an enjoyable hobby.

If your goal is to be in the field hunting then buy. Building rifles is a good excuse for not getting cold and wet or having to dress our game.
