I know this topic has been hashed before, but I have a 6.5-284 coming and needed to know what brass I should order.

If Lapua is an option I'd consider it an only choice!!!

I shoot Lapua brass in my 6.5x284 and it is well worth the extra money.

I deburr flash holes and trim to length. Haven't found any need to uniform the primer pockets. They are GTG from the factory.

Lapua brass has outstanding quality. Brass prep will be min. Sorting will not need to be done as they are very consistent. Nothing special will have to be done. Just load and shoot!!!!

My Practice is not to trim until after first firing and sizing.
