Just an FYI to those 7mm mag shooters out there.
Just purchased 200pcs of new Nosler brass and realized they
are all 35 to 40 grains heavier than brass I've used over the last 3 years.
They also have some new tooling marks down inside the case.
Nosler said this is acceptable to them so we switched to Norma.

I can assure you that some Nosler brass is Federal and others are Norma. We even sacrficed some and sectioned them to see internal construction.
I have 300WM Nosler brass that is IDENTICAL in weight and CC's to Federal FC 10 brass I have here, and a buddy has Nosler brass in the same cartridge that is IDENTICAL to Norma in weight and CC's.
The Federal made Nosler brass I have (100 pieces) is soft and not reloadable with anything near max loads. The Norma made brass is far better, IMHO.
The Federal brass WILL show excessive pressure if loads near max in other brands are used, ask me how I know this.
I won't be purchasing Nosler brass again, I buy Norma mostly nowadays.

Cheers.

Cheers.

When we received the Norma the first thing we did is weigh it.
It was within 5gr of all of the older Nosler we had in the shop.
I guess the new Nosler we received must be made by Federal.

Norma it is for now!
