I can't help but think wolf when I see that, but since we've got both species, suppose an intermingling isn't out of the question either. Fergus is some great country, congrats on the success.

The coloring is pretty wolf like. But the size and shape is definitely all coyote. Plus, I can't think of a situation where a wolf and coyote would interbreed in the wild. Wolves hate coyotes as much as coyotes hate fox. It would be cool if it happened though! Can you imagine 70 pound coyotes?!

Up here there are sled dogs that have got bread by wolves. . A female in heat is a pretty irresistible.thing for a male dog of any kind.
