Best powder for 6.5 creedmoor 130gr berger hotm?

H4350 has definitely been the best.
I tried rl16 but terrible carbon fouling.
Can you explain in more detail to an old reloader but someone new to LR shooting. I have had good luck in a Savage Creedmoor and ordered 8 pounds. Just curious how to manage a carbon ring if that is a byproduct of this powder.

I use 42.4 grains of H4350 in my Howa 1500 6.5 creedmoor with the 130 otm seated .020 off lands to get a group of 0.31 with MV around 2860ish ( can't remember offhand) I am going to load some more test loads at different seated deeper to fit my magazine & see how they shoot.

Rl-26 is too slow with the 130s. We've had good luck with rl-17,with velocity. We got right at 3000 fps from a 22in barrel but it was a fairly warm load. I would look into rl-16. I'll be testing some when the weather warms up alittle.

Rl26 46.5gr in Peterson brass pushing 130gr Berger hybrids @2993fps does the trick in my 6.5creed
Single digit sd's very accurate....
Other guys I shoot with are using h4350 and 143gr eldx's with great success...

I just got two lbs. of H4350, will see how good it does.

Ok, so I'am going to git some bergers online for me to shoot today.
There is something up with the barnes, I hit bad pressure at 41.9 and 42.0gr.
I went back down to 41.6gr and got no pressure and 2720fps.
C.O.L. was 2.825 with 41.6gr/ 2.800 with 41.9/ 2.840 with 42.0gr.
I gess the barnes are longer than other 130gr bullets, so I have to load them with 140gr bullet powder charges.

100V with lighter than 140's has been awesome for me. 120's 2900 with a light load. The rifle wouldn't come off target. 2990 had the same zero as my 147 load and single digit sd's would hold the waterline out to 326yds(furthest I shot paper with them. I used this load for movers inside of 400yds with very good success because the rifle didn't bounce around much. I had a bunch of room to go faster but never explored it.
