I have a factory mountain rifle (read skinny barrel 1:9 twist). Anybody shooting the berger 130 grain in this twist? Will it stablize? Berger Box arrived and says 1:8. I didn't check before I ordered them. Nice bullet, but, can I use it? thanks rc

I am cautiously optomistic. I like bergers (also abs) for their bc's. I think I really believe that the ABs are for the deep meat, but, the bergers really do well on whitetail and antelope sized game, and pulverize cayotes. They are startlingly accurate in my 300 rum. I hope my 1:9 will give them enough spin in the 6.5 260 rem. I will shoot them this weekend and report. thanks rc
