Best Mechanical 100 Grain Broadhead for Ravin R10 Crossbow

Excalibur x-act 100 grain 3 blade

Wife killed 6 last year farthest one ran was 200lb 9 point 60 yards

Between two of us we have killed at least 25 or so

I just purchased a new Ravin R10 crossbow and am extremely happy with it so far. After sight-in at 20 yards I shot it at 50, 80, and 100 yards. Couldn't believe I actually shot a 1.5 inch group (3 bolts) at 100 yards! I did cheat some as I was using my rifle bipod, rear support bag, and portable bench I use for long range rifle shooting. Now, I am wanting to purchase some mechanical broadheads for deer hunting that will shoot as close to the accuracy of the 100 grain target tips that I have sighted my bow in with. Granted I will need to verify accuracy with actual shooting the broadheads before going afield. What 100 grain mechanical broadhead would you suggest?

Rangerman"" I too shoot a Ravin along with recurves Excal x act is a great choice! Rage Hypo are real good also , they are cheaper but,work fine in 2 or 3 of my bows assuming that is what your looking for.Excal x act is one of my favorite though. I have always used my rule never sacrifice a couple of bucks and wound a deer or anything else over a couple of bucks. Happy Hunting!!

Been using Rage 3 blades since the last Century have filled every tag with them. Last year picked up a Raven 29x put a small rubber band around the broadhead just to make sure it didn't open when being shot. It worked great no problem !

Have used a couple of super good broadheads> Rage Hypo's ,Excal's , Swackers , Generally use Ravins on coyotes,bobcats,ect. Like using Rage Hypo's on pig! No problems so far! Have found out early on that if you look for cheap that is what you will get with the Ravins. Amazing bows ,I always called them Big Boys Bow! lol" I also shoot re-curve so have used a couple of them on pigs also worked great. Happy Hunting Rangerman and always enjoy the hunt!

Rick you ever notice there is always somebody as my Grandpa used to say ' There's always somebody that wears their feelings on their shirt sleeves!
