Got another today with the Tikka 243. @ 300. Shot this pasture poodle in the eye while in mid munch.

297 prairie dogs over the course of about 24 hours (Fri evening and this afternoon). Only had 97 rounds of 22-250 AI, so the AR-15 with 55 gr soft points took care of the rest.

Only found a single lone rock chuck this morning (may have been too cool/early today). 144 yards with my 6.5 Creed.

I like to go on 2-3 prairie dog hunts in the panhandleof OK every year. So far I've been on two. I hope to go on one more in September or October. I've enjoyed the two hunts I went on. I use bolt action handguns in 17 Remington, 20 VarTarg, 223 Rem AI and 22 Nosler.
17 Rem Fireball in Howa Mini Action, JTAC chassis, Pac-Nor barrel, OCL 556 suppressor and Bog Death Grip tripod w/ ball head and Arca rail.

20 VT in Howa Mini Action, JTAC chassis, McGowen barrel and YHM 556 suppressor.

Rem XP-100 in 223 AI and Polonium 30 suppressor

Nosler Custom Handgun in 22 Nosler w/ Dead Air Nomad L suppressor

236 more prairie dogs outta there this weekend. Came across two badgers as well. One with the 22 Creed and one with the AR. Should have had at least one coyote (called in a pair), but barely pulled my shot on the first and they were gone.

Northern lights were pretty awesome though!

It's a factory Sig Cross Sawtooth. Their standard chassis, but just OD green.
