Best lightweight scope

Just purchased a lightweight rifle 5.4 pounds and looking for a good quality lightweight scope shooting out to 500 yards. Any opinions on scopes thanks

In that range I would recommend a Swarovski Z5

I have the Z5 with the ballistic Turret, once you have settled on your load you can have swaro send you a custom turret. On my 300 wsm I have tested the turret out to 600m and it is spot on. The turret with my load dials out to 700m.

If you could find a Z5 under $1000 that sounds like a good option to me. I would assume it would be better than a Leupold V3i. However, the V3i is the lightest for the money from my limited research.

the vortex razor hd lh 3-15x42mm is on amazon.com for $680 It ways 16oz and is a 1" tube

If I was getting a VX-5 it would have the 56mm objective. I go for low light performance and it easily beat Swarovski z5 52mm, Leupold VX-6 52mm, and a Bushnell 6500 50mm.

I have the 3-15x44 and it is my favorite scope

I have a VX5HD it has nice glass and the locking turret is really nice for a hunting scope. For under 1k its a good buy.
