Best budget lr stock??

I am having my gunsmith build me a longrange mountain rig on a howa 1500 action / vanguard action. What is my best option for a stock that will not kill me in the steep mountains of idaho? All opinons welcome.

All I can find. You could go straight to Manners and order one of their special models with a high carbon fiber percentage. That would be really light also.

I do not think that greybull does not have the inletting for the vanguard/ howa action. Or do they?

I am also thinking of the Boyd's thumb hole stock.
