Bartlien 400 MOD barrels; any experiences??

Anyone have any real-world experience with them as far as wear / durability?

I am one of those guys who measures throat erosion every 100 rounds or so and then bumps the OAL forward by the mount of throat death that has occurred.

I have a couple of barrel burners (.0065 per 100 rounds of throat death) that might stay in tune longer if the juice is worth the squeeze with these barrels.

I have one on my AR10 6.5CM. 200 rounds fired. Maybe too early to tell!

I have a 25CM w. Bartlein 400MODBB 1:7" twist, running 133s @ 2986fps.

It took about 240 rounds to finally stabilize. More than twice as long as any other barrel I have had. My Brux 25 CM only took about 90 rounds to stabilize.
I haven't measured my throat erosion, so I can't help you there.

I cleaned it after about 500 rounds. It cleaned extremely easy and fast.

From zero to 200 rounds, I haven't seen a drastic jump in FPS. From what I've read, that is common with these barrels.

Stop slowly speeding up with the same load.
My load of 42.4gr H4350 started out 2912fps, and finally stopped speeding up at 2986fps. It has moved now in several hundred rounds.

I usually see this between 80-120 rounds.
