Barnes LRX

Haven't tried it yet due to my barrel twist isn't fast enough but the 175 lrx works great in my 300 win super easy to load for

I've shot a few in my 8 twist 30 Nosler. They are accurate but they are definitely single feed. There is only a short diameter section at the bullet base that will fit the case neck and then a long (smaller diameter) bore rider section dictates that the COAL becomes very long.

I'm hoping they'll feed in the 300 PRC.

I've shot them out of my 300 PRC, 1-8 twist 26" barrel. Running 2736 fps over US869. They are shooting .5-.75 MOA and holding that out to 1k yards. Still working on loads I feel can get more speed, just haven't had time. Missed an opportunity to try on cow elk, wife wasn't in the mood for a pack out!! :). I am satisfied with them.

I am magazine feeding mine, I have a Wyatt's box in a 700 clone action.

I'm shooting them in the 300 WSM with an AICS magazine, getting half inch and three-quarter inch groups. I've seen one quarter MOA group at 750 a few half MOA groups. Because of bullet design seating depth is not nearly as important I found that I can be plus or minus about seven000 of an inch and they still give me half inch groups looking at bear and elk hunting with it in Oregon this year.

Threads from a few years back but you're giving some good info, assuming you're using the 175gr version handloaded. If you haven't been properly welcomed to LRH, welcome from East Helena.

Saw the Vortex Nation podcast on the 300 WSM with the bore rider, incredible stuff. I'm gonna go burn some powder in the morning with my WSM, 190gr Speer Impact over RL26. I have shot the 175gr LRX and it shot fantastic over Hybrid 100v.
