Barnes LRX

7stw..A lot of people bad mouth Barnes bullets but I have never had one not do its intended job. In my book you cant go wrong with a Barnes bullet.

My 338 LM should be done soon and I bought a box of 300 gr Bergers before they came out with the 285 LRX. After I shoot these bergers up, I am going to try out the LRX myself.
Do you mean the 285 grain TSX or the 280 grain LRX?
 
Well, I ended up eating Non-resident tag soup on my deer. But, I did get to defend myself from a violent and agressive coyote at 222 yards. :D All I had available was the STW with the 168 grain LRX. Entry mid body on right side, exit about the size of a softball on the left side. Definition of DRT!!!!!
I did learn a valuable lesson that day, do NOT shoot a gun with a muzzle brake without hearing protection!!!!!!!
Next on my plate is a cow elk. We shall see how the LRX does on one of those!
