Atlas Bipod Opinion

Looking at purchasing an Atlas bipod. Used mostly off bench or prone. Very little if any hunting. I believe I have it narrowed down to either the super cal or 5h. Is the 5h worth the extra cash? Also uncertain of benefits of the pan feature. When tightened, does the pan feature get solid or is it still functional and just stiff? Can't personally handle either as no one has them near me.

I have 3 BT 10's so can't comment on those models but the cant feature is legit. You can tighten it down as much as you want or keep it loose.
