I am happy enough with my SH II that I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if I had a need for one and didn't want to spend a bunch of money. That said I am probably buying a Tract for a significant jump in price and a definite jump in weight next in this class of scope. Not that Arken is bad, I like the one I have a lot, I just like my Tract better.

Just an update on the Arken order. I had ordered the EP5 and the ELP4, well 4 days after I ordered the EP5, they went on sale for a substantial decrease in price. I sent a msg to the guys at Arken, and without hesitation they refunded the difference in price. Keep in mind they in no way had to do this for me, so this is just another testament as to what type of company they are. Oh… and I received the EP5 and I am completely impressed! I can't see a reason you wouldn't buy one.

I still rock the bushnell 6500 2.5-16 at 17.3 ounces great scope.

It is 24mm, but look for a now-discontinued SMRS......They're out there.
