Looking for experiance with the Hornaday 190 BTSP bullet in elk size critters and bigger. Terminal performance? Expansion? Penetration? weight retention ect....???
I shot several good groups and one stellar group at 300 yards tonite with these at good velocities. I think it may be a sweet spot and am wondering how they would hold up on elk and moose.
I have shot 1 deer with the Hornaday BTSP .243 100 and one sheep with a .308 165 Hornaday BTSP with good results but these are very small animals compared to elk/moose.
