This is a video from the first hunt of the year!

665 yd shot! My shooting partners son's first goat! 11 years to draw that tag here in Alberta.

It doesn't look like it but he was pretty excited about how it all turned out. he had been out practicing with his dad to make sure, that kind of shot was very doable for him to take, and he did not disappoint.

I made two versions of the hunt, the second has some zoomed in and slow motion of the impacts. Let me know which ones you like better.

Like the shooter said, probably didn't need the second one but after 11 years of waiting, I would have sent another to be sure too.

Two perfect hits within 5 seconds of each other at that range is something to be proud of for sure no matter what the trophy.

That's an awful nice buck for anyone's first buck much less at this range.

11 years to wait for a tag is a long, long wait.

The video was shot with a JVC Everio 40x optical zoom!

Just bought a Canon Vixia to be my main camera, that's what Im going to use on the next few videos.
