Howdy folks I am loading up some Hornady 143 ELD-X for my Tikka T3x and I want to get some good speed. I am considering Accurate 4350 vs the IMR4451 due to the slower burn rate. Western Powders has load data for the A4350 in 6.5 Creedmoor 2695 FPS for max charge 43.5 grains for Hornady 140 grain AMAX.

Anyone try the Accurate Powders 4350? Will I get better velocity with the slower burning A4350 vs IMR4451? Should I use Federal 210s or 215 primers? Is this a good match for a 143 grain ELD-X?

All 4350 powders seem to be the go to for the creeds, very easy to use and tune. Never used 4451.

Thank you. IMR4451 gained popularity amongst Creed shooters as a substitute for H4350 during shortages. I was able to score two lbs of 4451 from Midway. My velocities with the 4451 were slow out of my Tikka T3x.

FWIW, I'm currently shooting a newer T3x Creed with 140gr Sierra Tgk's and Staball, getting 2780 fps and the velocities are very consistent with sub moa accuracy. Fairly certain RL26 or RL17 would go faster but I'm happy with the speed combined with the accuracy.
