I shoot a Rem 40x 7mm with 168 sierra match bullets. I did play with the nosler 150 Balistic tips also.
Whitetail many over 500 none over 600. Turkey at 700 plus a little. Ground hogs up to 600. Sometimes not with the first shot. But I bear witness to a 940 hog shot by my buddy with a 308 baer. I never figured it out but it seemed like a 3 second bullet flight time. That hog looked licke a chipmonk through a 45x spotting scope.
