7prc prefit

I think I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and give this cartridge a try.

I have an Omega 36m silencer, which if I remember right requires a 20" barrel. I haven't come across any ready to go prefits smaller than 22"

Is this going to need to be a special order or does anyone know of any? It's for a zermatt ti-3 action.

If you're going to handload for it make sure its cut with an updated reamer, not SAAMI spec. Carbon Six will make a custom length and they've got a decent sale going on right now.

I just had a 7mm RM built a couple years ago and have been very pleased with it, so will probably wait till it needs a new barrel before going 7PRC. Just the same, I have been following 7 PRC development to a certain extent, and I hadn't read that the SAAMI chamber specs were problematic/had already fallen from favor. Could you elaborate on the benefits of getting the chamber cut with an updated reamer. I plan to run this cartridge eventually and want to make sure I get it set up right.
