7mm sherman max

With the 20" barrel I have, the 170 is around 3000 @ initial signs of pressure using N565, a load easy on brass would be 2900ish or a little more.

The 7 mag I loaded may have been a fast barrel, I have only loaded the 151's in this one 7 mag, but it is 24" and using RL26 is running 3390, and is over a full grain below pressure signs.
What is your load with the Re26 if you don't mind me asking.

Just finished first outing with 7 max , 190 Bergers 2290 no pressure.238 at 100 went out to 1325 y. Unbelievable proof 8-7.5 grain rem action trued , Jewel trigger Nightforce 67.2 grains n-570

Loaded up some of the PVA 151 grain Cayuga's today. 69.0 grains of H1000 had them moving 2998 fps with an ES of 20.

Very happy with the groups but seems like I'm leaving significant velocity on the table. Any thoughts?

What length barrel?

I'm running around 63gr of H4350 on the 140 BD2 and getting a tad over 3400. Think like 3410. 26" barrel. Might try a faster burning powder.

I like the rekindling of this thread! Finally have mine assembled and broken in, now for some load development. Going to see if I can find a high speed node with the 7mm 154gr. absolute hammer dead blows. Currently have a ladder test ready with h4350. Also going to shoot some 162 eldx loads, .005" of the lands, various charges of h4831.
