7MM Rem Mag & 168 MK

has anyone tried the 168 or 175 MK on game, and if so ,what were you loading it with. I tried 175MK in 308 win & was impressed with it on whitetail deer.

I have not tried the new 175's but have shot a few whitetails and a sika in Maryland with the 168smk. Most exit wounds were about 2 1/2 to 3"...pretty impressive. Shots were from 80 to about 260 yds.

I will hopefully be able to get back to ya on that one sometime next week. I am going on a cow elk hunt on wednesday and am shooting the 7mm rem mag with 175gr. MK pushed by 58.5gr. of RL 22. I hope to kill one at about 700 yards or so. That will give me a pretty good idea about performance on game at long range with this bullet.
