I just ordered a box of 200, so I am looking for some experience with the 143 HH out of the 7 LRM. These days I don't have the powder selection I once did, so I would like to use H1000 as I have more of that than anything.

Yes sir that is the only load that I have seen. I am saving the RL 26 (unicorn dust) for the 257 Roy, it likes RL 26.

I am no help with the 7LRM but my 143 HH load in 7 REM Mag with H-1000 is a very accurate and consistent. I thought H-1000 may be a little slow burning with the lighter bullets but found it worked great. Give it a go and happy shooting! Jason

I load the same bullet in my 7RM. Nosler brass, CC1-250 primer, FL sized, H4831SC, 67.4 grains, seated in the first PDR band, 1/8 crimp. Getting 3260 fps with 0.3 MOA. Killed lots of game with this combo. Deer, moose, caribou, black bear, etc. Had good results with RL-26 and Hybrid 100V as well. They were faster (3300 fps) and around 0.6 MOA.

I shoot 72.3 grains of H-1000 in my 7 LRM @ 3027 fps with 1/4" groups at 100 yards. After 1063 rounds fired, the rifle maintains its precision. My bullet of choice is Berger 180 grain Hybrid Target. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information. I have a load for the Bergers very similar to yours they shoot very well.

We have only loaded one LRM. We loaded with the 169g Hammer Hunter. 71g would be a good place to start with h1000.

I'm the guy with the data on the Hammer spread sheet. I didn't have too much powder to play with when I was trying to see what the Hammers would do. I did feel that I should of had higher velocities than I ended up with. My gun is throated for Bergers 175 elites if that matters. I want to play with the 169's when I get a chance.......JR
