6.5PRC - 130gr bullets ?

Did you try running it faster? That appears low, I run 140's at 3,000 out of a 26" 6.5x284.
Same here. I run just under 3100 fps in my 6.5-284 with 140 Bergers and RL25 and it's still under book max.
I was playing around in Quickload yesterday and I could easily exceed 3100fps with RL26 if I wanted to push it a little harder.

This is with a 26" Hart barrel and built on a long action.

I'm getting 2980 with 127 lrx out of a .260 with a 20" bbl with 20% less powder no pressure signs

in my 22" bbl 6.5 prc I can push the same bullet to almost 3100 fps but I get flat primers; I'm going to ditch the lighter stuff in the prc, may ditch the prc all together

Maybe try a different powder. I run a 20" creed and can get pretty good speeds out of it but they are way over book and brass doesn't last long. I ran a 130 berger for break in my 22" PRC and it was an easy 3200 on moderate load. Something is not adding up in your PRC. Your 260 is hella fast and your PRC is hella slow.

I'm running the 130TMK bullets with 57.5gr RE26 at just over 3,000 ft/sec with surprising accuracy. Loaded .010"-.015"-.020"-.025 off the rifling all shoot similar size groups at 400 yds.

While the accuracy is impressive I expected to see more velocity. What velocity are you getting with 130 class bullets in your PRC rifles.

I am using Lapua cases, Fed 210M primers and firing in a 23.5" Proof barrel.
This isn't exactly apple's and apples but I shoot the saum, 140gr, 28"" at 3150 with h1000. I use 60gr and have some room to spare. I do think you could go faster than 3000 with 130's and I recommend h1000. No ambient temp problems.

I'm guessing the shorter barrel is holding back your velocity some as I'm getting 3125 with 130gn. and 58gn. Of IMR 4350 and 26"" barrel
