I didn't get a crack at any elk opening day but couldn't stand to pass up this nice 20" whitetail at last light. He was quartering heavily toward me at 175 yards and took the 150 Matrix right on the point of the shoulder. The MV was 3120' and the penetration at high velocity continues to impress. The bullet took out the large shoulder bone, traveled completely through the thickest part of the shoulder, blew a 2 1/2" hole through the ribcage, and took out the heart, lung, and part of the liver........Rich
