I like the 6.5 PRC, but the 6.5WSM on a long action is the bees knees and will do exactly what the .264Win Mag will without the belt. Maybe I missed it, but what is your velocity goal with what bullet/s?
I don't mind the belt either. Keeps your pants up and keeps the kids in line. I have never really noticed any negatives from the shooting standpoint. I have had people try to explain it to me, but I just don't get it.
