So I was in the process of buying TI action for my 6.5 Sherman when I stumbled upon a 6.5 SAUM barrelled action for sale that fits my lighter weight needs so rather than pull my Sherman apart I will go with the SAUM ,and now I am in need of Load data for this round using 140 Berger . I would prefer to use H 1000, Retumbo or N 570 as I am not a RL powder guy so if you have data for me great .
I understand that the 6.5SS may be close to this round so even some 6.5 SS starting data would be appreciated.

The GAP 4s / 6.5 PRC forum on Facebook has more load data than you can read in a night....

My proof barreled 6.5 saum in for sale section likes the 140 berger and loves the new 150 smk!

61.5 H1000 with 140 3125 FPS
59 H1000 with 150 3027 FPS sd 4.2 stupid easy to hit 1000 yards.

Both with Hornady 4s brass
210m primer

Berger 140gr hybrid 0.020"off the lands, nosler brass, cci250 primers, h1000 60.5 gr 3045fps

Berger 140gr hybrid 0.020"off the lands, nosler brass, cci250 primers, RL26 59gr 3140fps

Hornady 143gr eld-x, not sure how far off the lands but used the same setting on my seater die as the hybrids, nosler brass, cci250 primers, RL26 3140fps (same POI as the Berger load out to 1000yrds)

Have ramped up to over 3200fps with no pressure signs for either bullet...

Jetbrook, where did you get your h2o case capacity spec from?
I'm not familiar with quickload, is "useable" case capacity a calculation of what is left when the the bullet is seated in the case?

63gr of h2o seems low.... my cases and most of the other guys that i have seen post h2o capacities on their 6.5saums are in the 70-72 grain ranges but that would be total case capacity filled to the mouth...

Got the load chronographed. Shot 5 cold bore shots 20 minutes apart.

MV=3,033
ES=7
SD=2.6

With those number on top of groups in the .1's, I think I'll call it good!
