338 lapua

I have a 338 lapua and i cant get anywhere close to the lands my detatchable mag lenght is 2.738 off of the ogive. any suggestions on where to start with bullet length and powder weight.i am shooting berger 300 otm tactical , lapua brass , cci 250 primers , and h-1000 powder . any suggestions would be helpful thanks in advance.

Only option is to load single shot. What metal do you have? Mine is a seekins and I can fit 3.850 in the mag and thats .02 off, just where is likes it. My load is 91g 1000

Try a different bullet? Like a 300 gr. Sierra or Lapua.
