338 Edge / Lead / Throat / Free Bore

Were preparing to order a 338 Edge Reamer and need some specs if anyone has them. We will be shooting the 300 grain SMK's, single shot. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Dave Kiff at PPG has the standard specs. I'd give serious thought to running an OAL of 3.900" in single shot mode.

Thanks Shawn. I have a drawing from Dave @ PTG but he was unsure if the .148" FB was for a 300 SMK or the 250 gr. bullets. Any light you could shed on this would be appreciated.

just throat it for the 250. when shooting the 300, you MIGHT loose 10fps. as the throat moves forward, the 300's will still be against the lands.
