.338 edge barrel length

Has anyone used a barrel shorter than 30" for .338 edge?

Yep, 28" Brux plus break. I was still getting 2725fps with 90 grains of H1000 and could have push them faster. definitely a little handier size for packing around.

29.25" is hardly shorter than 30".

IMO 28" is a good length, shorter and you could do better with less case volume.
