300wm to 1000yds

Just curious if anyone knows (ballpark) how much elevation MOA I need to get my 300 to 1000yds... Im shooting a 190gr berger around 2850fps... using a sightron II 6-24

Many factors come into play.

Altitude, muzzle velocity, BC, zero distance etc. But my best guess is 21 to 24 moa. With a 200 yard zero.

^^^^What he said. There are way to many variables to give you any kind of accurate ballpark figure. Especially with the variety of loads and bullets available to use in a 300 win mag

In Montana last year @ the 1000 yard shoot @ the deep creek range I was shooting 190 Sierras @ 3043 fps out of a 26" barrel with a S&B 5-25X56 pmII and needed 24.25 MOA with a 100 yard zero and a 20moa base for whatever its worth.
