300wm, H1000 vs RL26 pros and cons?

Try the Berger 215 it has a higher BC(.691 vs .670) and most guys run the 215 at 3,000 fps with ~72-75 grains H1000, it is one of the most stable powders available. Reloder 26 has big velocity spikes around ~84F and if you live in SoCal like me that means you can't shoot it in the summer.

What charge weight/velocity are shooters running in the 300WM with R26/Berger 215's?

In my SAAMI chambered rifles I worked up to 75.5 grains in Norma cases 2980 fps in a 26" barrel. It's right up against max right there.

In my custom chambered 300 WM 26" bbl I use 76.9 grains for 3025 fps. This rifle has a great node from 76.7 to 77.1 grains of RL26 so I parked it in the middle.

In my testing with both powders in the 300 WM I've found that my RL26 loads are right at 2 grains less than my H1000 loads.
