300 wsm

i am having a 300 wsm built and the barrel will be a 1/9 twist. It was the barrel i found at a decent price and carbon wrapped. I am hoping to shoot 180 gr and up. Its faster than the normal 1/10 or 1/12 but should be ok right.?
