300 win mag drop in mrads

I just picked up a 300 win mag and I'm putting a vortex viper pst ffp mrad scope on the rifle. I'm looking for the bullet drop from 2-1000 yards in mrads. If anyone has this I would appreciate it. I know it will vary from bullet to bullet, just looking for an approximation. Thanks

You'll have to use a ballistic calculator, plug in all the relevant data and get it to either give you the drops in mils or convert it.

The graduations on your scope are roughly .3 MOA per click. Ten clicks is roughly 3 MOA.

If all you know is inches you can convert to mils by:

(Drop inches / (yards / 100) / 3.6

243" of drop at 892 yards = 7.57 mils.

243" / 8.92 / 3.6 = 7.6 mils (rounded).

Converting from MOA:

MILS = MOA / 3.44

26.0 MOA / 3.44 = 7.6 Mils (rounded).
