So I'm looking at which mount and rings to run on a remington 700 300 rum long range rifle. Was looking at egw 20 moa rail and some medium height vortex rings. Not looking to break the bank shoot mostly 200-500 yard but looking to play a little at 1000. Optic I have is a mueller 8-32x44 scope. Here are the links to the rail and rings just wondering if this will work?

I don't have that exact set up but I have a Remington 700 Long Range in 300 rum. I have an EGW 20 moa rail with medium Burris XTR's on it. I am running a Sightron SIII 6-24X50 and still have room to spare. I think you are good to go. SWFA used to have a calculator for rings and bases; not sure if they still do.

Thanks that's good info.

Same rifle but...
I'm running a Nightforce 20MOA pic-base with Vortex/Seekins match rings(0.92) w/ 5-25x56 ATACR(34mm) but w/ Bartlien 4 contour. Yours should be fine around the same. You have a heavier contour but much smaller objective.
