.260 vs 6.5 Creedmore

So can someone give me realistic speeds in 22-24" Creed - with 120 thru 130 class? Please list bbl length, twist, speed, bullet, and powder used if you do not mind. Thanks.
2800 in a 22", 2900 in a 24" (maybe 3000 depending on load and BBL.) I have found a 22" is typically 100 fps slower than a 24" with a 1-8 twist.

We shot the 6.5x55 with R#26, 130g accubond and Berger VLD hunting at 3150, no pressure in lapua brass, 26" 4 Groove krieger.

260 AI is a monster, fast and accurate in my pard's rifle.

I was thinking of a 6.5-6mm Remington(6.5x57). Easy to modify both seater and full length and Neck sizing bushing dies. This would gain you a lot of lattitude in the mag box of a Rem action over a 6.5/06 that I am shooting now.

I shoot the 6.5x47 Lapua in my short action 700's, no down side.

It will hold a tad bit more powder, so the result will be more velocity.

6.5x55 has a slight issue on case head size, 6mm Rem of course would not.

I like the long neck on the 6 Remington case vs the very short neck on the 6.5x284

Don't know the exact data but I met a guy at the range shooting a 20" Proof barreled 6.5 Creed. He was using the 130 VLD with Reloader 26 and was shooting 2820.

If I could have purchased a 260 in LH I would have gotten it over my 6.5CM. All though the edge is slightly in favor of the 260 I don't think any critter would know the difference.

The 260 has roughly 50-75fps per second. I think that's something everyone understands. However the brass and ammo availability goes to the Creedmoor. So a factory ammo shooter is better served by the Creedmoor and the bulk shooter is as well. You can find once fired brass for cheap for the Creedmoor. In high end brass it's probably a wash as most manufactures produce both cartridges brass. Point being I think each cartridge has its advantages.
