I was pushing them at 3100 FPS with powder I already have opened (MagPro). It's less than 1 MOA at 200Y during fire-forming - accuracy load development in progress.

I tossed between the two. Brass availability made me choose the 6.5 PRC case. I have two barrels chambered. I might have a new 25/6.5 prc Benchmark CF, 24" 1:8t Sendero for sale.

I'm a huge fan of the 284 and all its wildcats but built a 25-6.5 PRC. Absolutely love it and incredibly accurate with the 133 Berger's at 3270 fps.

I run a 24" , 1-7 Brux. Chambered in 25-284 with 134gr Hornady ELD-M's @ 3120. The heavies are wicked in a 25-284.
Curious what you guys shooting 25-284s COAL with the heavies are?
Trying to determine is its doable in a short action with one of the longer dbms.
I have several Posts on the 1/4 bore and building a 25x284 or 25/08.
Had some friends tell me just go with a 25 Creed.
We already have an abundance of 6.5x284 and .260 Lapua Brass and Busing dies for both so just need to get a Reamer & Barrel for what one we chose and make a 1/4 bore out of it. Also have both SA and LA Actions from AR CDG. Also have 2K in Berger 131gr and 135gr bullets. Plenty of Powders and Primers.
Had another friend tell me that we have too many builds going on for personal use so make these to sell as a build or sell all the components we already have.
Interested to hear what someone is going to build and use.

They are long. My over all cartridge length is 3.260. It's on a Tikka action.

Holy smokes that eld looks like its got hardly any bearing surface in the neck!!
Looks like I'd have to get a medium action then to run a 284.
