Bought some reloader 7 powder for some 50gr combined tech. works great at 24 grains of powder. now I want to reload in 65 to 69 grain, but can not find any thing, does any body use re 7 with heaver loads?

Prob can get load data from Alliant. I'm not near my manuels but I would recomend varget for 65-69g'ers

rl 7 is pretty fast for heavier pills in the 223. I'd go to rl15( or AR comp.) or h4895; possibly TAC.

7 is way too hot. Those little holes in your receiver will be spitting fire.....

H322 is what I use for my 55 grain BTSP's.

I use 25 grains of Verget with a 69 grain SMK boolet...at 200 yards it will print 1 1/8 inch 7 shot holes...This is 1 in 9 twist...and bullet just touching the lands..
