Looking for some loading help please. I picked a 223 rem. in 1-8 twist bolt action And I'm looking to find some loads for Seirra 69gr hp & 77gr hp. I tried both with Varget and they preformed ok but not great. I have both H335 & CFE223 coming, and would be thankful if anyone would share some pet loads with these two powders and also your coal. Or if think I would be better served with another powder. Thank you in advance for you help.

I don't give out load info, but don't overlook RL-17. I use it in a 223AI with the 85.5gr Berger. Does great out to 1450yrds.

CFE-223 will get you good speed, but never had much luck with it for accuracy.

Good luck

Please see the same question posted by the OP at:

Guys, wanted to say thanks for the help and suggestions. Have a 700ADL in 223 and couldn't get consistent that I needed. Read on LRH somewhere about same issue. The member suggested a 52 grain bullet (1/12 twist) . Got some and got loaded. Went to the 300 yard range and proceeded to shoot a 1 1/2 inch group. 10 rounds. Not bad for an old man. Before asked yes changed the stock and trigger to something better.
So thanks again. Now next goal is to go prarie dog shooting something.

I think you meant to post this comment on the other thread the OP had on 223. But whoever helped you may see it on here too.
