I couldn't Help myself when this heavy Alberta buck came in while I was sitting in the blind.
He's going to make some fantastic pepperoni!! just waiting on my peroxide to show up so I can bleach the skull now

How did you get the skull so clean? (I've seen ants and cockroaches get something this clean without chemical or boil-breakdown to the bone)

I boiled it for about 45 minutes and then a pressure washer. Cold pressure washer will work but the one I used was high pressure /high temp which makes a big difference.
A little soak in the peroxide now and it should be snow white.
I did it in the car wash once and it blew chunks of meat and brain matter everywhere
They were impressed haha

My daughter shot this buck on a general season hunt opening morning right at daylight with my 7GLR Magnum. Perfect shot right behind the front shoulder. 350 yards away. 195 berger going 3280 fps!

Daughter got this little guy yesterday. Been a slow year all around. First and looks like the only game taken out of our group. She was happy. 243 with 70gr Hammer Hunters at 3560fps. Typical to were we deer hunt, 50 yards.

This is just great !! I love to see the younger generation enjoying the outdoors instead of colouring there hair purple and out protesting whatever the flavour of the day is.

It's been a few years since I've tagged a buck. This year I took two with my Win. M70 in .270 win shooting 130gr TTSX around 3050fps. Sure was glad to share the hunt with my boys and for the extra help dragging and processing the deer.
