I have a new barrel that I need to send to the smith and it will be a 30nos finished at 22".
The nos in a custom throat will be hard to beat.

I've got two 30 Nosler that are short barrels. One is 18.5", the other is 19". Both are 1:9" twist Bartlein 5R barrels. Same reamer (my spec) chambered both.
I'm getting 2825 fps with Berger 210's on a new barrel.
I considered the 300 PRC, but chose the 30 Nosler.

I have done a ton of them and I'm going to say without a question either way you are going to be tickled to death with how well they shoot and handle ..
I'm fixing to cut a 20" barrel in another 30 nosler.

Another 30 Nosler here. Handload and the extra freebore reamers are the way to go.
If you want to push the envelope just a little more then the 30-28 is the way to go.
If you're only shooting factory then you can call yourself a PRC boy!
Good luck but out of these three you won't be disappointed.
