The last Browning Hell's Canyon we loaded we used Gunwerks brass, F215m, N570, 199g Hammer Hunter, seated at 3.640". Started at 97g and worked up from there. Finished at 3390 fps avg.

Soo your replacing barrels every 750-1000 rounds down the pipe? Curious, how does this affect barrel life?

vel is not the culprit when it comes to burning out a barrel. These high velocities will not wear out a rum any faster than a heavy slow bullet at the same pressure. Here is a thread that you might be interested in reading. Bunch of great info.

Wow. 3470 sounds crazy fast. How long was the barrel?

We have never done 3470 fps in a rum with the 199g Hammer Hunter. That is a number that I have recently posted with the 124g Hammer Hunter in a 6.5 prc.
