Anybody shooting this bullet in a
6.5-284. I have tried 140 and 135 Bergers with Retumbo, H1000,rl22 and H4350 cannot get a load that I like so thinking this gun just does not like Bergers.

I have shot about every bullet out of a 6.5x284 norma. You can get some good speed but shooting a 129 out of a 6.5x284 just didn’t make sense to me. If you are having trouble try the 140 Berger elite hunters. Pretty easy to tune with retumbo

and or of course..........one might just learn something by trying it never hurts

I've worked with a ton load of 6.5/06 barrels and with the exception of one all them had the accuracy wheels fall off when one went over 2850

Was just a thunk, take it for what it's worth. I always find it interesting what we can learn when we're just willing to give it a go

I’ve used the 129LRAB in my 6.5-06. They shot best at .050 jump. They shoot great and have worked perfectly on a few cow elk, deer, antelope and Barbary sheep. Use H4831 or R22-23. You should be able to push them as easy 2900-50 out of 26 in barrel
