129 nosler LRAB

142lrab at 2950 or so works good in my 65284..and that's not really pushing them..
If you can't get 3000+ from 129lrab your very slow...
As they shot good at about 3050+ for my 24.5" shot out shilen barrel...

I have tried Retumbo, H1000, rel22. And H4350. Trying to be 2850-2900 ish range. 26" Carbon six barrel
.010 jump maybe I need more

Anybody shooting this bullet in a
6.5-284. I have tried 140 and 135 Bergers with Retumbo, H1000,rl22 and H4350 cannot get a load that I like so thinking this gun just does not like Bergers.

Just looking on nozler for a 142 nozler long range max load 46.5 grains

sorry bud I just did a little research the nozler accubond long range says they are getting good results out of w760 powder with 142 long range accubonds 46.5 grains is max do a ladder test and do a oal measure of your ogive with bullet comparator back off your land a little at a time not telling you what to do just help if I can some guns shoot different bullets I know my Ruger would not shoot nothing but nozler maybe give it a try

Lapua case CCI 200

2938 FPS out of 27" tube. Probably go higher but don't want to trash the cases.

Have you tried jumping them a good bit? I have a 6.5 SAUM that likes these at over .050" jump.

Tried some 143eldx with retumbo and H4350. .010 jump and .040 jump not real good
129 lrab with same powders same jump. Not real good either

Going to go back to the 140 berger hunters and try 4 different coal loads with Retumbo see what happens.
Do not have any 4831 or rel 26

Have had real inconsistent results in ELDX and ABLR on 30 cal varieties. Seemed to have different ogive measurements in same boxes. Not impressed with either company's attention to detail.

Maybe try jamming the Bergers .005".

That is possible, but Berger's on lighter weights are jump sensitive. 140 in my 7mag liked into the lands, but 338ultra could care less .250 up no change

No but the smith that built it knows what he is doing. Sure he would not turn out one that was bad.

Any one tried reloader 26 or IMR7977 in their 6.5-284? i"m tyring to tune it for the new 153.5 bergers.
