115 gr Berger load help 25-06

Hello I have the Berger book but was wanting to try reloader 17 maybe for this bullet anyone try this?? Have a vangaurd s2 in 25-06 looking forward to finding a load that just gives me the sub moa my rifle will produce. My dad always used imr4831 with 87 gr pills. Looking for a reach out and touch me round that will stretch the tube some. Thank you

55, I load the 115 Berger for my son's 25-06 with H4831SC, 210M primer and Hornady brass in his 26" heavy barrel. Very accurate. I load the 115 for my .257 Wby also. Good luck

55.2 Gr RL 22, CCI 250 Primer, 115 gr VLD, seated at .005 jump
54.3 Gr H4831SC CCI 200 Primer, 115 gr VLD, seated at .005 Jump
55.8 Retumbo, 215M primer, 115 gr VLD, seated at .005 jump

I liked RL22 w/BR2's. Working up the load, I started at 53.0gn (avg: 3003fps & .6675") and worked up to 55.5gn. Did not chrono 55.5 but accuracy was .487". Best accuracy came from 54.0gn @ .2975", veloctiy avg 3104fps. My rifle was a Sendero SF, 26" barrel. JohnnyK.

my r700 liked em .003" off the lands with nosler brass, 59.2grns of IMR4350 and I believe it was CCI250 primer, I'm not home to refer to my personal load data to confirm the primer. shot .479" groups @ 3015fps.

Mine is a 25-06AI, but H1000 works great in mine. Shoots the 115 Berger at 3350 fps. I got a bit more speed out of 7828 but it was to unstable and overpressure.

grrrr... you've got me second guessing myself now... damnit. I'm in the gulf of mexico on an oil rig so I can't run home to check my notes. It'll be next week before I get home to check.

I'm going to delete the original powder charge I posted in the previous post until I can confirm but I would have swore it was 59.

We show IMR 4831 46.0gr = START , 51.3gr= MAX APPROX velocities 2792-3078 fps, 92 % fill ratio.
Nothing on RL-17. But RL-22 shows 49.5gr START , 55.2gr MAX, APPROX velocities 2760-3089 fps , 98% fill ratio. These loads are based on magazine length loaded rounds and a 26in barrel. You will need a barrel twist rate of 1-10" or faster. Hope this helps!
