Four of us used the same PT&G reamer to make five 257 Weatherbys. All rifles used the 115 VLD.
Kills to date have been:
16 coues wt ranging from 237 to 525 yds
4 mule deer
6 elk
1 antelope at 560 yds
I can still remember seeing two of those coues wt drop without a twitch with a double lung shot. one owner used his 257 in Co to take all the elk and mule deer. His is 7 lbs with a 24" barrel. He swears by it and won't use any other rifle for his hunts.
